Care, with the right reference.

Start with the selected timber, coating and finish. Their confirmed care instructions guide the method and frequency.

Keep the product record.

  • Keep the model reference, order or project reference, finish sample reference and the care instructions supplied for the final configuration.
  • Record the location and exposure, including strong sun, irrigation, coastal air or frequent cleaning, so guidance can suit the setting.
  • Keep dated overview and close-up photographs when checking a change in condition.

Agree the care method.

Timber species, timber finish and metal coatings can need different care. Ask for the instructions for your exact finish before selecting a cleaner, oil or touch-up product. Do not assume that a treatment suited to one material is suitable for another.

Cleaning agents, abrasive tools and pressure washing need to be checked against those instructions. The project care schedule should also identify who inspects the furniture and how concerns are reported.

Describe the change.

Natural grain and colour differences should be assessed alongside the agreed sample and exposure. Report cracks, coating damage, movement or loose parts with photographs and the conditions in which they appeared. Avoid altering the part before MNTZA has reviewed the enquiry; follow the site operator’s safety procedure if use may be affected.

Request a replacement part.

Send the model and configuration, any order reference, an overview photograph and a close-up of the part. Include the quantity and delivery location. We will review compatibility, availability, finish matching, cost and lead time for that request. Availability and supply terms are confirmed for the selected configuration.

Your email app opens with a draft. Complete and review it before sending.

General project guidance. A product-specific care document is confirmed with the final material and finish; this page does not replace it.
